How to Overcome Sadness : Things You Can Do To Be Happy
Life is full of ups and downs, and in these ups and downs, we have to face many problems. Some are bad, some are worst. So, its normal to feel sad in these situations. But it didn’t mean that you’ve to live in the sadness and you should completely forget how the happiness feels!
“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light.” -Albus Dumbledore (Didn’t know about you, but I am a huge fan of JK Rowling’s and her writing “Harry Potter.”)
So, here are some things which you can do to overcome sadness and to be happy instantly.
1. Remember that nothing lasts forever.
Whether its something good, or something bad, nothing lasts forever and that's the truth of life. Remember this when you feel sad or facing some problems.
If you think about it, its something very logical and I believe that everyone needs to learn it. I mean that nothing lasts forever and if we understand it, then we can easily move on.
Just be patient and believe in yourself, everything will come into place. Not today, but one day. You’ll feel the happiness, you’ll feel the success, not today but one day. All you have to do is just keep moving.

2. Become your own hero.
If you think that someone will come into your life and will take you out of this chaos, then believe me you’re so wrong. If you’re waiting for a hero to come into your life, then you’ll wait your whole life.
You should have to become your own hero, no one is coming to save you. This is a harsh truth, but no one really cares about you and what you are doing. So, you should better be your own hero, instead of depending on others to make you happy. Be your own sunshine and become happy on your own.

3. Seek what sets your soul on fire.
Life without a purpose is meaningless, and that’s why you’re facing so many problems in overcoming sadness. You didn’t even have a purpose of life for which you can just get out from your bed every single day.
If you have a purpose, then you'll gonna feel it that you didn’t have any time for this fuckin bullshit of getting sad for almost no reason. You will know that its temporary and you didn’t even care about it.
When you didn’t have any purpose in life or didn’t have anything to do, then it is natural that you’ll start overthinking. And as I have talked in a previous post ( How to Stop Being An Overthinker ), overthinking is the best way to create problems that even don’t exist in the real world.
So, it is better you should find a purpose in your life, and then you should pursue it with your passion.
4. Realize that world isn’t your reflection.
If you think that you’re good and the world will be good at you, then you’re so wrong. This world isn’t a reflection of yours. If you’re good, doesn’t mean it will gonna treat you good. Maybe it will treat you worse.
So, stop expecting from others that they’ll gonna treat you as good as you treat them. You should never expect anything from anyone in return.
You should better ignore this world, its fake peoples and realize that this world is not a reflection of yours.

5. Take it as a lesson.
We learn many lessons, not in school, but when we actually see the real world. Life teaches us many lessons, but some of us instead of learning them, we tend to feel sad and regret them.
We should never regret anything in our life. if its good, then take it as a reward, if it something bad, then take it as a lesson. But there should be no place for regret.
The time when you’ll stop regretting and try to take every bad moment or incident as a lesson, you’ll start feeling happy and it will grow your personal development game.
