Be-the-best-version-of-yourself
“Goal should not be better than anyone else, but to be better than you used to be.”

Life shouldn’t be all about competing with others. In order to really grow, you should focus on your growth, you should focus on defeating yourself, not others.

If you really want to achieve greatness or want to become a better version of yourself, you should stop comparing yourself with others and try to be better than yourself you used to be before.

In your life, your biggest competitor is no one else, but your own self. You should defeat yourself, every single day, in order to become better.

But how would you do it?

Don’t worry, in this post, I am going to share my 5 tips which I personally use every single day, in order to become better than I used to be.

5 Powerful Habits to Be the Best Version of Yourself:

1. Implement a habit of learning.

“Learning is a never-ending process. That time will never come when you can truly say, you know everything.” – Manish Kumar

You should implement a habit of learning in yourself. Learn something new every single day. This world is full of knowledge.

“If you go for finding knowledge, your search will never end.”

Make it your habit, add it to your daily routine, that you must have to learn something new every single day. Whether it’s a word or how to start a blog 😉, you must learn something new.

2. Practice, practice and practice things you do.

In order to really become better, you should practice things you do. The process of becoming better doesn't stop on just learning something new every day. It continues till you master the subject.

How can you master the subject?

Simple, just by practicing. Practice makes a man perfect (as you know).

If I give you an example of mine, you may have noticed on my blog that now I publish posts after several days. It's not because I have become lazy. Its because I now spend most of the time in promoting my older content.

Now I have established a blog (I learn a new thing) and now its time to promote my content (practicing things).

If you think you’ve learned something new today and now its over, then you are totally wrong. Things don’t go this way. You must have to work on these things, you have to practice on these things, in order to achieve greatness.

Otherwise, you’ll don’t go anywhere else. And did you know what is worse than defeated by other?

It is by not going anywhere else and staying in one position for days.

In order to succeed in life, we must grow every single day.

3. At the end of everyday spend some time with yourself.

“Help others when they need, but make sure you are available for yourself first when you need any help.”

It's not a bad thing to help out others. But if you keep yourself on a side and help out others first, then you are may be doing something wrong. You should be available for yourself when you need any help.

To become a better version of yourself, you first need to overcome your faults and mistakes. And what is the best way to overcome mistakes?

By figuring them out. 😉

And to figure them out you can try a simple thing. This is what I personally do each and every single day.

At the end of every day, I spend some time alone with myself, keep my phone side and remember all the things which I did in the whole day.

Then I make a list of all the good things and all the mistakes that made the whole day. You can write all these things on a piece of paper.

Now I have all my mistakes in front of myself, its time for improvements.

Always remember this, “mistake once made is a mistake, but when it made more than once it’s a decision.”

4. Set priorities.

“What you achieve today and what you going to achieve in future, all depends upon your priorities.” –Manish Kumar

Becoming a better version of yourself isn’t an overnight job and you can’t do it with one single improvement. If you really want to become better than you used to be than you should focus on all fields where you can improve something.

And priorities plays an important role in our life. Did you know what’s the difference between an ordinary man and a successful man?

It’s their priorities and willingness to achieve something great.

Successful people didn’t waste their time on unnecessary things or people, they have set their priorities to what that can make them successful, and that’s the major reason for their success.

And on another side, if we saw an ordinary person (let's talk about my previous self when I didn’t have any goals).

I didn’t have any goals of life, I just get satisfied by something ordinary. When someone texts me, I just opened up that text and start replying them. No matter what work am I doing, I just didn’t have any priorities.

I ran behind people and attach my happiness with them. And when they leave I felt so sad.

And if I talk about now, I still have many unread texts, now I didn’t run behind people. Those who want to stay I appreciate them and those who leave me, I don't even care about them.

Now I didn’t run behind happiness, I create happiness on my own.

And this is all became possible because of my thoughts, because of my priorities, because of my goal.

“I change my thinking and it changed my life.”

You should set your priorities carefully because this will going to affect your life. Down below is the sequence of my priorities from which you can take inspiration:

1.     Goals of life.

2.   My happiness.

3.   Family and friends.

I didn’t say that you should follow the same order, but this is what works for me.😉

5. Stop thinking about what others are saying and doing.

Becoming better isn’t just a physical approach, it's also a mental approach. You should better your thoughts and thinking.

I see I lot of people around me talking about other people and caring so much about what others are doing and what they are saying about them.

In my life, I too do the same, didn’t I speak for others but I pay a close attention to what others are saying about me. It decreases my confidence and makes me a man of society (a man who do what others want him to do).

But now I have realized that “people will start telling about you when they can’t reach your level.”

No matter how hard you work, no matter how good your work is, there are always some people in the society who will always say something negative about you.

It's not that now people didn’t say anything bad about me, they still say and I think they’ll say it in future too.

But did I care about them?

Hell no!

I know I am on the right path and I didn’t need anyone to believe in this. I have believed in myself and its enough for me.

“As long as I have belief in myself, it's enough for me to do hard work.” - Manish Kumar

So, give these habits a shot. Implement these in your daily routine and let me know what’s the results for you.

And if you too have any habit or tip you can tell that in the comment section below, we would love to hear from you.
