This is so normal that whenever we are alone we start to think about things negatively. But this is what we should stop. To overcome your loneliness, you first should take control of your mind and your thoughts.

Second: Think about your future
Whenever I feel lonely or feeling sad, I just think about my future and then think that why even I am sad, is it worth important to me?
I think you can try it too. Our future is the most important thing that we want to secure and want to make brighter than ever.
So, just try this trick once, whenever you feel sad, alone, think deeply that is that thing even important for you or will that even help you in the future that you are feeling sad about it.
I bet that half your loneliness, sadness will vanish after it.

Third: Let the unnecessary things go as it is

To be happy, to overcome from loneliness you first should identify which unnecessary and necessary things in your life. Why?
Because holding on unnecessary things doesn’t give us anything except, loneliness and pain. So, it is better to let them go.
But on the other side holding on necessary things in life will make us stronger than ever and help us to reach to our destiny.
Fourth: Use your spare time in doing something useful
Mostly we feel lonely when we are free when we have nothing to do. So, here is a trick for it.
Instead of looking up or thinking up of bad memories, just do something that will be going to pay for your future.
Look:
You have lots of free time in your day, so why not you used it for some other work. These works can be your hobby, can be your favorite work or something else. Do anything which makes you happy and which will be going to pay you in future.

Fifth: Be socially active
Social media is a great platform to make new friends, to learn new things and so on. Then why shouldn’t you use it for your own?
Social media can be a powerful weapon in overcoming loneliness, especially when you have no one to talk. You can use popular social media sites like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
Be social, make new friends, learn new things.
